General Pictures
This is a collection of my favourite shots, that don't really fit into any particular album. Some are landscape / nature type images, whilst some are manipulated images that just get the mind working. |
Bristol International Balloon Fiesta
The Bristol International Balloon Fiesta is held each August in Ashton Court, south-west of Bristol. There's an arena, where parachute displays land and shows are held, and there's the balloons, of course. The massed launches are at dawn & dusk, these are a sight to behold. And the glow, well, that's fantastic! The balloons are packed in, it goes on well into the dark, with the pilots firing their burners to make the balloons glow, in time to music... Followed by a fireworks display. |

HOG Rally
The South of England Rally is a meeting each August of Harley Owners Groups from across the country - and abroad too. With plenty to do and see, and with a wonderful family atmosphere, it's been run at Bisley, Surrey, since 2004. |
Westonbirt Arboretum
Westonbirt Arboretum is a fantastic place near Tetbury in Gloucestershire, 20 minutes north of the M4 Junction 18. It's a forest and a tree & plant museum all rolled into one, and has many stunning events put on through the year - from outdoor music festivals and classical concerts, to guided walks, and the Christmas Illuminated Trail, where they light up the trees into a magical extravaganza. |

Competition Entries
This collection is some of the entries I have made to the local Photographic Society (Bath Photographic Society). I've been involved with this for a while, and was Competition Secretary until recently. Some images have done well, some haven't. That said, one judge's opinion is just that - one judge's opinion... Make up your own mind which ones work, and which ones don't... |
